###
Bob
Dylan
inspired two generations of musicians and songwriters, and continues to
influence emerging writers, performers and artists. Each year a visual
arts
contest is held during Dylan Days in Hibbing, Minn.
– Bob Dylan’s hometown –
around the time of Dylan’s birthday.
What
kind of art?
All media,
provided it can physically fit into Zimmy’s Bar and Restaurant and is
safe
to
display in public for a few days. Art can be related to Dylan or his
music, but
is open to all subjects. Judges
will
base
their
decisions
on
creativity, not subject choice. All
works will be prominently displayed at
Zimmy's during the week of Dylan Days as hundreds of visitors come to
Hibbing for cultural events.
